A little state of the blog post
MetaFilter Guided Tours is a little over month old at this point, and it’s only up to 15 posts, and a lot of those from the first week. I’m okay with this, because doing these posts once a week works for me and I’m really happy with how the posts have turned out so far. This blog is as much for me as it is for anyone, I’m really enjoying having a quick way to read comments I like a lot around and I especially will as they age and have the time to properly ferment.
The one thing that I’m not super happy about is that I haven’t gotten any submissions, but that’s okay. It does mean that this blog is mostly going to be about comments that make it into the popular comments, the feed of which I follow religiously. I was kind of hoping that more comments that went under the radar would be featured, but I don’t read MetaFilter enough to really get to those.
So yea, this is kind of a post asking for submissions, which you can turn in here, and also to ask what you people think about this blog so far. Leave me a comment or hit me up at devtesla@gmail.com.
Okay, that’s all the meta for a while, I’ve got a post ready to go so this little bit of navel gassing will be pushed off the top of the page soon enough!
